When the rubber hits the road, eventually you’ll end up with a flat tire. And while it’s never a bad idea to keep a spare in the back, we’ve reached the time of year where our tire pressure lowers naturally due to the temperature drop outside. More likely than not, if you see a tire pressure light appear this winter, you can put your worries to rest in a matter of minutes by filling your tires with the AstroAI portable air compressor . Formerly $66, the cordless inflator is now $40 for a limited time — a steep 39% discount!
AstroAI Cordless Portable Air Compressor $40 (was $66) at Walmart
Cordless battery-powered air pumps are nothing new. But AstroAI is distinguished at this price by its value proposition. For $40, it’s tough to find a portable air compressor capable of up to 160 PSI of pressure output from two different power source options. Should the 20V lithium-ion battery deplete, simply plug it into your vehicle’s built-in 12V socket for a backup plan that never leaves you stranded.
That said, as long as you make sure to recharge it back to full capacity after pumping your tires, AstroAI says its 20,000-mAh battery can fill all four tires on a single charge on most vehicles. However, the company notes that the performance of its inflator is insufficient for large truck tires. For everyone else, a backlit LCD screen lets you set your target tire pressure while monitoring your current pressure in real-time as the pump runs. Once the number you set is reached, the power shuts off automatically to avoid overfilling.
One shopper called the AstroAI air compressor a “fantastic value,” adding, “I’ve seen similar products for twice the price. This can blow up a tire or a pool toy. Lightweight yet powerful.”
“Small and powerful for fast inflation,” another reviewer commented. “Very convenient due to [its] small size, built-in pressure display, and fast inflation.”
Plan ahead with a responsible purchase that will raise your chances of getting home and back for the holidays. At this price, you might as well order two, as a digital air compressor with a built-in gauge is the perfect high-tech car gift for the new driver in your life.
