The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq in a Nutshell

Cadillac’s first attempts at electrification didn’t go down so well. There was the Escalade Hybrid from 2009, and the short-lived ELR from 2014. Fast forward to today, and the company now has four full electric vehicles, and it all started with the Lyriq in 2022 for the 2023 model year.

The Lyriq is one of two midsize EV crossovers in the Cadillac lineup, with the Vistiq serving as the more family-friendly three-row version. But what the Lyriq lacks in an extra row of seats, it makes up for with bold styling. It has seen a couple of updates since its introduction, and the 2026 models bring in tech enhancements and a restructured trim hierarchy.

2026 Cadillac Lyriq Lease Deals for April

Luxury EV crossovers aren’t the cheapest, but the Lyriq is among the most accessible. That also means its lease deal should fit in more people’s budgets. In this case, the AWD Luxury trim gets a special offer of $549 per month with $4,939 due at signing.

That doesn’t sound bad at all, although do note that the leasing period is only good for 24 months. That said, there are additional savings to be made for eligible owners/lessees of an XT4 and XT6 with $2,000 towards the lease of a Lyriq, and another one for an Acura, Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volvo, Porsche, Tesla, Genesis, Polestar, or Rivian.

Terms and conditions do apply for those savings, and you can check out the fine print in the official site. Mileage is capped at 10,000 per year with a $0.25 charge for every mile exceeded. This offer is valid until April 30, 2026.

2026 Cadillac Lyriq Highlights

Part of the changes for 2026 is a better-sounding, simpler set of trim levels. Previously, these were simply called Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Luxury 3, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Sport 3. Now, it’s Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Signature Luxury, with prices ranging from $59,200 to $67,800. All versions come equipped with advanced driver assists, Super Cruise, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities, heated steering wheel, wireless connectivity and charging, NFC Card, and Google Built-In.

The Premium Luxury adds a 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio System, active noise cancellation, ventilated and massaging front seats, and a hands-free tailgate, among other features. As for the Signature Luxury, it comes with all the features of the Premium Luxury, plus 22-inch alloys, rear-seat heaters, tri-zone climate control, and a clever augmented reality head-up display.

There is a choice between single- and dual-motor versions across all trims, the latter with all-wheel drive. The single-motor is rear-wheel drive and puts out 340 hp and 325 lb-ft. For the dual-motor models, the output jumps to 515 hp and 450 lb-ft. If that’s still not enough, the Lyriq-V can give you 615 hp and 650 lb.-ft, along with a 0 to 60 mph time of about 3.3 seconds. All models draw energy from a 102 kWh battery pack.

Final Thoughts

One thing the Lyriq does well is wow you. From its radical exterior to its cozy and welcoming interior, the Lyriq can lure you in on looks alone. The thing is, there’s actual substance behind it with strong powertrains, commendable dynamics, and a strong value proposition. It’s not a traditional Cadillac in any way, but the Lyriq is a hugely commendable car from the brand.
