It wears the same livery as his championship winning F1 car

Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 driver and four-time F1 world champion has a bit of history with Pagani. Back in 2012, he custom ordered a 760 horsepower Zonda, one of the last to roll of the production line. In addition to the boost in power, Hamilton fulfilled all of our enthusiast wishes and had the car fitted with a manual transmission. Now a Huayra commissioned by Brett David, CEO of Prestige Imports, will wear the colors of Hamilton's F1 car.

AMG boss Moers also explains why they made the four-door GT

We were granted a bit of time with the head of Mercedes-AMG, Tobias Moers, during the New York Auto Show last week. Among other topics, we asked him about AMG's famed V12 engines and whether they have much of a future with AMG. It seems they don't. Moers told us that he doesn't feel they're necessary for AMG's products, especially vehicles unique to the AMG brand such as the AMG GT.

When Australian outlet Car Advice asked Mercedes-AMG boss Tobias Möers about the future of the brand's high-performance cars, Moërs revealed, "[The] next-generation Mercedes-AMG C 63 will be a hybrid — that's now a given." What's more, AMG might have the AMG C 63's successor send its power to all four wheels.

Mercedes-Benz introduced its 2019 C-Class refresh at the Geneva Auto Show. Now, at the end of the month, the renewed range-topping Mercedes-AMG C 63 models are revealed at the New York Auto Show, and in addition to the exterior-interior nip and tuck, the AMG C-Class now gets some interesting tech to boot.
